Man I will miss Pitt race so much. The last event and my first time experiencing this amazing facility, the highs and lows of the weekend were all new in their own ways. Coming off a p3 at autobahn a few weeks prior I was feeling pretty good about how Pitt race would go. Plenty of sim time along with finally feeling comfortable in my civic once again This track was amazing in so many ways. Coming off a dq for breaking power to weight Saturday morning. I had to go out and try reset a lap time to make podium sprint. I managed to do that the next session but also felt there was plenty of room for improvement still. The final session on Saturday comes around and I started to put a lap together that would contend in top 3. While there was traffic from other classes I was contending with I chose to not back down. And in doing so I was caught off guard by the brake points of this faster car and as I went to the brake pedal my foot slipped off and I could not get back on the brakes fast enough. To avoid my fellow competitor I dove hard left narrowly avoiding his rear bumper. With all this being said I ended up in the two tire walls covering the fastest brake zone in the whole track. I am so very thankful for every who threw in to help support the safety focused upgrades this season because they 100% saved my life. I had the best possible outcome of the worst situation imaginable. I am 100% healthy unbroken and even in bruised. Tire walls and full halo safety seat from Racetech did what they needed to do. More to come soon but I just wanted to take a moment and share how grateful and appreciative I am for everyone who has helped me live past this and also rebuild again

It’s not every day you podium for the first time. After years of hard work and determination, @berg_nick earned himself some @gridlifeofficial hardware! It wasn’t given to him either. The top 6 drivers of ClubSC were in a tight battle all weekend!
In the end, we both set new PB’s. Nick finished in 3rd, and I came home in 5th after a few mistakes in podium sprint… BUT, a big congrats to @lennonradrad and @jimmyrauck on their first place finishes. Wild drive!
From new records to DQ’s. Hot to hail. The good, the bad, and the paddock drags. An awesome weekend overall. We experienced some crazy weather and every emotion of Time Attack. So worth it when you get to carry your best friend to podium, then completely soak him in an ice bath after! 🥉
This has one of my favorite memories to date. Great work last weekend boys. The crew all drove to the track and made it home safely, with no issues. I’m proud of this budget built racing team we’ve created.

It’s been a full week for the fit. After not feeling well on a drive home after work last Tuesday, woke up Wednesday morning feeling way better just to leave home by a few miles and my fits cyl 2 spark plug decided to eject at Mach speed.
And knowing exactly what happened the sigh of defeat settled in. As I was making time last weekend to check over the car and reset valve lash and check plugs.
Too bad the fit beat me to it.
After deciding I didn’t like the idea of having any metal in my engine for a helicoil kit, and seeing several other fits lose head gaskets on track this past season I figured it would be solid prevention for the next 100k of abuse
All in all it’s not bad. Did find my timing tensioner was worn out significantly. So fresh tensioner guide head gasket and plug and coil she’s back up and running great!
About to drive one of my dream tracks! So beyond greatful for the friends and family I have met along the way through cars and racing. I love you all and I’m ready to throw down at lime rock park with the #sundaecup crew! Let’s go!
One of the longest goals is now reality. For years I’ve been spectating and enjoying this entire community surrounding gridlife grow immensely,
It was always the goal to drive around a racetrack and with so much influence from friends and people I’ve met because of cars and gridlife overall have propelled me into finally doing what I envisioned for myself.
For the first time with so many people’s help along the way, I have made it to #gridlifetrackbattle and officially have my own car in time attack.
There is still so much to work on and make improvements but with everything considered as a very underdeveloped car.. it has so much potential 🔥

It’s not every day your best friend moves away…
Before @berg_nick moved up north in 2022, @ek.eleora and I bought him a matching 1998 Civic roller on market place from @randy_runs_it . Thing needed so much work but it was clean. I knew he had a part-out in mind on his daily at the time, so it was a perfect way to keep him busy while away.
What a project it turned out to be! A whole chassis swap and 2 years later he’s back with v1 of his #sundaecup race car. He got it done in time for the 2024 season, and we did a shake down last weekend @3ballsracing ✅.
Seeing it drift for the first time @gingermanraceway , and drive home in the same day was just the beginning. It’s been such a fun build, and a proper resurrection of the hatch. Epic work, glad to be apart of it!🙏🤘

Calling all racing friends with deep suspension and vehicle kinematics knowledge.
Asking for help and or a wealth of knowledge based around vehicle suspension setups/spring rate/dampers/motion ratios/toe curves ect ect
I feel I have a decent surface level understanding and mechanical knowledge on how a suspension system works. My goal with this post is to try and be connected with someone or multiple someone’s that can help guide/interpret my current knowledge
I am on the leading edge of the dunning Kruger effect. And I am wanting to take the dive into the finite details to help understand more about vehicle dynamics for road course racing.
