I missed #worldcircusday yesterday, so here's a post from hoop earlier this week. Mandy had us do this little sequence then reverse it. And then afterwards we each made a little mini sequence...which then got taught to another classmate to be reversed. Mine included a chandelier drop. I got up there and struggled and did an giant freaking pull, but I reversed that drop, somehow. But because I'm dumb as hell, I didn't record any of THAT. #circus #lyra #hoop
There are a number of Mixed Aerials classes offered this session at @commonwealthcircus , my 101 is on Sundays at 4pm. Or if you know you want silks, I'm also teaching a Silks 101 on Tuesdays at 5:30pm! Plenty of open spots in both!
There are two spots left in the Student Photoshoot that I am doing at @commonwealthcircus on 27Mar2026. I've thought that students work damn hard to earn their circus skills, but not all of us want to actually perform in shows and whatnot, so I try to do occasional student photoshoots to give people the opportunity to have good quality photos of them being the badasses they are. These are a few of the photos taken at the last photoshoot.

Finally put together the LEGO pirate ship that @isobelvalo and I won by winning first place at the Gay Pirate Trivia night at the Peabody Essex Museum.
This was the first LEGO set that I put together that was actually missing pieces, and missing quite a few of them from one bag, so in true pirate fashion, I had to scuttle some older sets and salvage some pieces to make this one work. So the aft castle woodwork is...colorful.
This is definitely the closest I've been to getting elbow circles. Toes made it through. Now I just gotta do the second part. #circus #circuseverydamnday #lyra #hoop
