I'm a graduate of Akwa Ibom State University.
And honestly, it feels deeper than just a title.
This journey came with pressure, growth, moments of doubt, and days I had to keep going without knowing how it would all turn out. But somewhere in between the stress, the wins, and the quiet perseverance… I changed.
I didn’t just earn a degree, I grew into someone more disciplined, more aware, and more ready for what’s ahead.
Being a graduate now means I carry both the knowledge and the responsibility to do something meaningful with it.
This is a proud moment, yes, but more than that, it’s a starting point.
To everyone out there building themselves, figuring things out, and refusing to give up, we’re closer than we think.

I’VE BEEN GRADUATING MY WHOLE LIFE; but last Friday felt different.
Before fashion, I thought sewing was just about creating beautiful clothes. I didn’t know it would test my patience, confidence, emotions, and even my strength. There were days I stared at fabric for hours, knowing exactly what I wanted in my head but struggling to bring it to life with my hands. Days I unpicked stitches repeatedly because one tiny mistake could ruin everything. Days I doubted myself completely because things that looked easy for others felt impossible for me.
Working on this project changed me. The pressure of creating those ruffles while carrying the fear of failure was overwhelming sometimes. Fashion humbled me deeply. It taught me that talent alone is never enough. Fashion is patience, discipline, problem-solving, consistency, and believing in your vision before anyone else understands it.
Last Friday, I graduated from the Beginner’s Class to the Intermediate Class at K’ACE Fashion Academy - KFA, and I also won Overall Best Creative Dress.
For someone who had never sewn anything for herself just two months ago, this means everything.
And to my tutor at @kace.fashionacademy , thank you for teaching me with patience, even when it took tiny paper illustrations for me to understand.
