With its 73 metres, the Hall of Mirrors represents the economic and artistic success of France. It's decorated with numerous painting as well as over 300 mirrors - which by the time of building were a great luxury.

This gothic church has been on my list for its original stained glass and rose windows as well as for the basilica's historical significance: all -but three- of the French kings are buried here, making it the "royal necropolis of France". The building itself is absolutely astonishing with these pillars that remind me of dribbling wax on candles. --

Almost one year ago, we walked the streets of Paris.
Paid a visit to one of the most iconic sights of said city, and managed to capture the western facade.
Dating back to the mid-12th century, this cathedral stood the test of time and is responsible for over 13 million visitors a year (cheekily beating the Eiffel tower). --

Half a year ago, I ventured out to see the sunrise from the top of a mountain with a friend of mine.
After finally arriving just in time, we saw it peek its head over the horizon.
Definitely was worth getting almost no sleep.
