Four Sundays ago I was in Sydney, Australia, performing for a beautiful crowd as the headliner opening the first day of Mardi Gras. It was such an honor. What I loved most about Australia was the beauty and kindness of the people.
Those two weeks touched my heart so deeply that I’m already dreaming about when I’ll return to this magical country. If you follow my journey, you know the angels that surround me and how God continues to guide my footsteps.

Something extraordinary is happening in my life right now, and in moments like this I find myself reflecting on the women who inspired me to dream beyond what I could see.
Growing up, Diana Ross was the blueprint of style, grace, and possibility for me. She was a vision of beauty, strength, and elegance — a Black woman who carried herself like royalty and showed the world what was possible. I admired her deeply, and in many ways she helped shape the way I believed a woman could walk through this world.
And now here I am… standing on global stages for more than 30 years, sharing my voice and my story with people all over the world — and doing it proudly under my birth name. Even writing that feels surreal.
To hear the love coming from China right now fills my heart with so much gratitude. Music has a way of traveling across oceans, cultures, and languages, and it reminds me why I never stopped believing in this journey.
I am incredibly excited for the upcoming release of “Dreamer” with Armada Music. This song has carried my spirit for decades, and to see it finding a new generation of dreamers means everything to me.
More than anything, I’m proud of the resilience it took to keep going — the dedication to live a testimonial life and to bring joy, hope, and freedom to others through music.
If my journey proves anything, it’s this: never give up on your dreams. Sometimes the dream takes the long road, but when it arrives, it carries every lesson, every tear, and every triumph with it.
