It was incredibly cinematic looking with the amazing, gloomy storm clouds covering the city that day. I photographed this on June 5th 2020. On that day anti-police brutality protesters gathered in New York City to pay their respects to Breonna Taylor. It would have been her 27th birthday.

#1 of 8 beautifully crushed cans I found in the gravel parking lot of a ferry port in Turks & Caicos last year. I brought them back with the intention of photographing them. I got out my studio lights for the first time in years last night, and finally did just that. Now to see how they look printed large. More to come.
Borax mine. Largest open pit mine in California. Largest borax mine in the world. Each level you see is 30+ feet. The mine is more than 2 miles long and 800 feet deep.

This massive port covers 7,500 acres (4,300 land and 3,200 water). It also sits right next to the Port of Long Beach which is nearly the same size.
