Hi 👋 I'm Ben Lawrence, from Norwich, UK. I make music and films. In 2016 I lost my twin brother Dan to cancer, aged 25. Since then I've been writing songs about my journey through grief and now I want to share them with people who need to hear some hope.

A year ago today I released my debut single 'O Wide World'. It's been a wild ride since then putting out some of the most emotionally charged music and film of my life.

I wrote this album after losing my twin brother Dan to cancer in 2016 when he was only 25 - I miss him every day. And although these songs are about grief and loss, they're also about life, hope and a thirst for adventure, even in the face of tragedy. They've been the soundtrack to my story and now they're yours.

nice to meet you 👋 long story short, in 2016 I lost my twin brother Dan to cancer. It was the hardest time of my life, but from that I wrote lots of songs to help me process.
In 2023 I released my debut album and now I've just put out the expanded edition O Wide(r) World, with 19 tracks on it in total including collabs with @Pyramid Park, Andy Lowe and benediction.
