Second ISU Skating Award, but this one feels different, not because of the trophy but because I remember where it started. A small town in the south of France, far from the world of figure skating, with just a feeling inside that I couldn’t ignore. I followed something I didn’t fully understand, and somehow it led me here.
This is for that voice, and for everyone who feels it too. Don’t ignore it.
Thank you to my skaters, the coaches I work with, the federations, my family, and everyone who trusts me and allows me to create, to take risks, and to push skating forward. And thank you to the ISU for creating a moment like this for our sport.

I’ve been working with Donovan Carrillo since 2021, and honestly when I see him on the ice now, it’s just not the same person anymore. Not in a dramatic way, just in a real way. Everything makes more sense.
We didn’t try to rush anything or change him, we just kept working, season after season, and let things build naturally. And you can feel that today.
This new free program we did together goes somewhere else.
I think you’ll feel it pretty quickly when you see it.
And for me, that’s the best part… seeing someone grow like that and stay true to who he is 🤎
