With some delay - saying goodbye to Mr. Fezziwig and Mr. Beavis. The Dernière of "Der Geist der Weihnacht" took place on December 26th at the Metronom Theater in Oberhausen - 4 Previews plus 27 Shows in total in front of a full house for this production, of which I played all but 2, due to injury on stage on December 19th.. Glad to have had the opportunity to jump in this production, meet lovely new colleagues and reconnect with old ones and tell the Dickens tale during the Advent Season. We also amazingly raised over 70, 000 Euros for the WDR 2 Weihnachtswunder Charity after the shows, the message of the Scrooge story having cleary resonnated with the public. Unfortunately spent a very large amount of time going to get medical care in the last days/weeks still dealing with this work injury, but will hope the new year brings full health, freedom and joy! Now arrived in Montréal to spend time with my family and recuperate. We had a successful Première of the Musical "Der Geist der Weihnacht" at the Metronom Theater on Sunday evening, after intense rehearsals and 4 Preview Shows. Happy and grateful to have been able to join this wonderful team last-minute and get to bring on stage Dickens' Tale of the Christmas Spirit redeeming souls. Unfortunately more actual then ever in this day and age, with many billionnaire Scrooges just caring about their own wealth and power instead of focusing on light, love and sharing with the less fortunate, and goodwill towards their fellow men. It's already been almost 2 weeks since getting back to Berlin after ending this second year of the Addams Family Tour on Halloween, in Koblenz. I hadn't done a post-mortem yet (how Addams appropriate). Lurch hung his boots, I took the long train ride home, and after some much needed slow days to recharge, life went back to normal speed in the first week home, before getting to warp speed this week - lots of projects and opportunities showing up at the same time! We had the Première of the 2025 Germany Tour of Addams Family this weekend at the Parktheater in Plauen. Was lovely to rekindle with the returning cast members from last year, and kudos to the new colleagues who managed to integrate this production and rock it after limited rehearsals! 💪 Great to bring Lurch back to life, make people snicker and laugh out loud, surprise them with a lyrical flight at the end, and find my (very) slow pace again 🐌😈 The main block of shows is coming this Fall, starting at the Capitol Theater in Düsseldorf on Sept. 27th, the tour ending fittingly on Halloween in Koblenz. It's a Wrap!! Meine erste deutsche Synchron-Hauptrolle fertig aufgenommen! Und was für ein lustiger, skurriler Film! Absurde politische Satire mit einem Hauch Zombie-Thriller...  I heard "RUMOURS" the movie is coming out in German cinemas late April or early May 😉 Cate Blanchett and Charles Dance amongst others are playing in this film.. Et pour les gens du bercail: j'ai eu l'énorme plaisir et honneur de doubler Roy Dupuis dans la version allemande, jouant superbement l'heroïque premier ministre canadien - qui aurait cru que je doublerais un jour "Ovila" à Berlin en Allemand!  Ich hatte meine erste Synchron-Erfahrung bei FFS in 2014. Seitdem ne Menge (Achtung: Wortwitz!) Kleine- und Neben-Rollen gesprochen, fast immer als französische Figur die kurz in einer Serie oder in einem Film erscheint. Manchmal blieb der Typ ein bisschen länger (Emily in Paris, Bull, Deep State, Hannah) und man konnte eine Entwicklung der Rolle genießen. Aber nun 10 Jahre später, was für eine Freude eine Hauptrolle über 3 Tage zu sprechen und die Figur sich wirklich vertraut machen, seine Kreativität raus lassen zu können und so viel Spaß mit dem Team zu haben!! Tausend Dank an Stefan Kaiser für die wirklich tolle und positive Regie und das geteilte Lachen, Sean Rupp fürs Buchen, Katrin Kabbathas fürs Buch, Markus, Jules, Efe für Ton und Cutting, und natürlich an Cinephon für die Zusammenarbeit durch den Jahren und die Chance diese Hauptrolle zu sprechen. Und danke an @sarah_alles die für mich ganz am Anfang die Tür der Sprecherwelt geöffnet hat.
