Bakers’ Day 2026
What a wonderful celebration of the French “Baguette de Tradition” at the French Embassy in the United Kingdom.
A heartfelt thank you to the @gquillot French Embassy for the kind invitation to Bakers’ Day 2026 an inspiring evening dedicated to French baking heritage, craftsmanship, and innovation.
It was a pleasure to attend the seminar “Baguette de tradition given UNESCO heritage status 3 years on” with Mr. Arnaud Sorin from Foricher Mills, followed by an insightful panel discussion on “The benefits of growing and baking with heritage wheat” with Ms. Fanny Leenhardt and Mr. Andrew Forbes.
The evening was further enriched by speeches from the French Ambassador to the UK and Business France, followed by a wonderful networking reception and buffet celebrating the very best of French gastronomy and baking culture.
