As Special Adviser on Revenue, Jobs and Wealth Creation, the objective has been simple; ensuring that no one is left behind in our quest for a better community through strategic wealth creation across board.
In celebration of International Women’s Day, the Ikoyi-Obalende LCDA in partnership with VFD Bank has embarked on an initiative themed: Empowering Her Fortune wherein 400 women within our community will get access to grants, health insurance, financial literacy amongst other facilities in the future.
I am particularly grateful to the Executive Chairman for Championing this initiative 100% as women empowerment is an integral part of his administration with a strong conviction that ‘if you empower a woman, you feed a family’.

Over the weekend, I had the privilege of representing the Executive Chairman, Hon. Fuad Atanda-Lawal at the BPaWA (The Bold Pathfinding Women of Africa) where he was honored with the Man of the Year award for his giant strides towards accountable governance and women empowerment.
We also received the team at our office yesterday for a formal presentation, while we do not take this for granted, we see this as an opportunity to do more.
