This Saturday I will be riding in @tour_de_tony a fundraiser for Prostate Cancer awareness but also to remember my uncle Tony who passed away earlier this year from the disease. As you can see, he loved cycling.
On this occasion in 2019, he dragged me up Alpe d’Huez which was far beyond any climb I had attempted (given I’m not a cyclist to begin with😬). He was clearly very good at motivating and pushing people out of their comfort zone, no matter how painful.
On Saturday, I’ll be attempting 100km on a much flatter circuit with friends and family. A few of the better prepared will be going 200km+
Their has been tremendous support for the event with over $30,000 raised to date. 🙌🏻
Like my cycling prep, my fundraising has been left to the final week so any contribution is much appreciated. 🙏🏻
