On Friday we celebrated the storied and legendary career of Chief Dave Baldwin of Adam’s County Fire Department after 39 years of serving the greater public. Dave’s work has helped an innumerable amount of people, having worked as an paramedic and EMT for Denver General, Broomfield, Reed, North Washington, and Adam’s county, having served as a Chief for the latter two. He led and coordinated efforts from his department to help contain the devastating Marshall Fire of 2021, which without the efforts of him and hundreds of other fire fighters would have been an even more horrific fire. No less important has been his work on helping bring CPR education to many, and helping to make the training for it more accessible through his work with the Mile High RETAC. Please join me in wishing him an amazing life in retirement! Thank you Dave!
