We celebrated my incredible sister’s 50th birthday surrounded by family, great friends, and plenty of unforgettable moments. From quality time together to being completely spoiled along the way, it was one of those trips you just don’t want to end.
As a bonus, Etosha delivered some amazing wildlife sightings, a few proper bucket-list snaps to take home with us.
All round, an unforgettable trip filled with love, laughter, and memories for life.

The one we said was about to head off on a scout journey across Namibia…
Well… here’s the beginning and the end of that road.
From rain-soaked rivers in the North, alive after summer storms…
to an ancient canyon in the South, dry, vast, and carved by time itself.
Same country.
Same Buffie.
Two completely different worlds.
Buffie rode with us on a proper location scout, chasing stories, horizons and possibilities for the next chapter… with fellow fixers and co-conspirators Lesley-Anne Mulder, Paul Brehem, and Paul Liechti, the kind of people who know the back roads, the real stories, and the magic hidden between the map lines.
We can’t share the full route, for obvious reasons 😉
But trust us….Namibia delivered.

Tonight from our home in Hout Bay, the sky is crystal clear and the stars are putting on a proper show. After days full of projects, proposals, meetings, and chasing deadlines, it’s a quiet moment that puts everything back into perspective.
Grateful for this beautiful corner of the world, for my wife by my side, and for the calm that comes when you just look up.
Hope everyone else gets a chance to step outside tonight and take it in.
Missing hon and our adventures in ice today. Even though I almost broke my body on that black ski run whilst tobogganing, it was still the best day ever 🥶💙

🇳🇦 Namibia, here we come.
Today marks the start of our very first Aitsa! location scout in Namibia — and we couldn’t be more excited.
Over the next 15 days, our two scout teams will criss-cross this extraordinary country, covering more than 4,000 km in search of stories, landscapes, and places that inspire what comes next.
Guiding us along the way are our lucky charms, a stuffed buffalo and a monkey, one for each team, officially promoted to co-pilots, navigators, and morale officers. They travel with us everywhere, clipped to the vehicle keys, and they’ll be popping up in photos as we move from location to location.
Our wheels for this adventure are courtesy of #GondwanaNamibia2Go, part of the #GondwanaNamibia — perfectly set up for the long roads and big distances that define Namibia.
This is just the beginning.
