This once off gathering in aid of @gazagobragh , will showcase all original compositions by Benji, cinematic soundscapes, emotive strings, tones, drones and sad piano. Join Benji Bower & the Terra Collective at the Ballydehob Jazz Festival 2025 for a unique evening of music, combining jazz, classical and electronica.
The performance will include a seven-piece string ensemble, piano & synthesisers.
Featuring singers Kathleen Frances, Leonie Evans, Molly O’Mahony, and special guest jazz soloists from around the world.
‘Terra Coda’ explores the fragility of nature, and the devastating impacts of environmental destruction.
The Terra Collective aims to inspire a deeper connection to our environment and a commitment to protecting it.
Benji Bower has been nominated for outstanding achievement in music @ the Olivier awards, recorded at BBC Madia vale Studios for Giles Petterson, scored the multi award winning film ‘Tom’ by Wilkie Branson. Worked, produced and remixed for artist such as, Bononbo, Kathleen Frances, Alice Russell and the heritage orchestra. Produced the critically acclaimed Nu Jazz project ‘Unforscene’ and composed for Film and numerous TV productions.
Opening the Show will Leoni Evans, South East London multi instrumentalist, singer songwriter and lead singer with Blue Mocking Birds.
This is a seated concert.

a few words about the project.
In 2023, re-discovering the landscape of his childhood, Dan embarked on a series of meetings and workshops which opened up an unexpected encounter. When Babylon Arts introduced Dan to Katie Boag and Ash Goosey – two krump dancers from the Ely area – they collaborated on a short film that resonates profoundly with many of the themes he went into the residency with; young people, landscape, climate grief and ritual. The film, Fenland Elegy, premiered at Norfolk & Norwich Festival in 2024.
