When the goal is normally to beat the number board, I didn't leave myself much choice but to go for this one. After the last round where I left myself on the wrong side of a 4 way sprint, I knew I had to attack early in the race. This plan paid off and gave me a clear run at the tight single track sections. I couldn't be happier to take my second national elite win of the season. This also now sets me up in a good position for the overall standings that will be decided in the last round next weekend.

Not every day you get to lead the UK's best through the first lap, Just missing Tom Pidcock who was busy winning the Olympics.
Despite the good start a few mistakes led me to feel less confident on the bike. After a few more messy laps the bunch started to split and I dropped back to finish in 5th place. I'm still happy with this result, the leg's can definitely do it and I can't wait for the next race.
Early start to some Cyclocross racing at Megacross. Fast running track lead to a bunch race, one hard lap split it into 3 and a sprint out the last corner to take the win 🏆
