I’ve got both front and back capsules on, and I’ve also got nothing inside this @evettsdrums 18” Jarrah Bass drum, thing is singing! Chuck some headphones on if you want to hear the sub coming out of this simple set up. Got some more vids with this mic planned soon 👊
We’re a week on from releasing THINK BACK, and we’re absolutely buzzing about the reception 🙌 Big up to all the playlists we’ve been added to so far, and a big thank you to all those who have checked out the tune so far! 🪩
THINK BACK - out now! This track started as one of our earliest demos and has slowly evolved through live shows, recording sessions and a lot of experimentation to make it into the track it is today.
We’re incredibly lucky to feature our good mate and incredible keys player @hongs.songs on this song. Hong’s playing lifted this track beautifully!
For the video we experimented with motion blur photography, shooting burst sequences and stitching the images together to create movement.
We’d also like to thank the incredible work of @gormie_ on the mix and @alexwarrenmccarthy on the master 🙏
‼️This Friday 13th, some new music to share ‼️
This one actually started life as one of our oldest demos. It’s been slowly evolving over time, changing shape every time we played it live or took it back into the studio.
What started as a rough idea has turned into something that feels a bit more organic than some of our recent tracks, still built around modular sequences, samplers and electronic textures, but with a lot more live energy in the final recording.
It’s a track we’ve been playing at every show, and now we’re finally excited to share the finished version.
