Setting out on a mission and achieving your specific, ambitious goals is incredibly rewarding. I wanted to get a behind-the-wave shot of a surfer dragging their hand along the wave, and that’s exactly what I did. My trip to the Adirondacks went about as expected. I took the wrong trail at 5:30am and didn’t realize until I was halfway down the trail. Literally ran back down in the dark in order to make a sunrise that never happened. Fortunately, it started pouring rain. It rained heavy for the rest of the hike right up until the point when I finally got back to my car. That’s when the sun came out and I realized I lost my car keys. Good Times.

This is the story of a daughter’s love and her blind mother Juanita.
As a blind woman, the waves lead her to a deeper sense of power within. The emotion we all felt on this day was truly unparalleled. She describes her time in the water with such beauty, vulnerability and grace that you can feel in every moment alongside her.
Today, we wrap every mother in this tender love and gratitude. While also holding close those that long to be mothers, are grieving a mother or child. Or did not have a mother present. Especially those single mothers who carry both roles.

Best snorkel squad south of the Mississippi. The gang went out into La Jolla cove to find sharks and seals but they surfaced with something deeper: Friendship.

This wasn't supposed to happen. Sean reached out to me and booked an engagement shoot. The original plan was for him to propose on the beach, while I shot from a distance. A day or so before our photoshoot, Sean told me he had already proposed privately, but the shoot would go on as scheduled. It took all the stress and planning off the table and allowed Sean and Jamie to have that intimate time to themselves.
