I’ve been thinking a lot about my own childhood: what I loved, the lessons my dad passed down, and the quieter skills you don’t realize you’re learning until much later.
Photography felt like a nice way for me to sit with these questions. Brandon, Maya, and Ananda welcomed me and Brittney into their home, and together we tried to capture some of the intimacy and everyday moments.”

I finally learned how to do my own color prints and it feels like a whole new world has opened up to me. I’m so excited to spend more time in the darkroom - where I first fell in love with photography in high school. Also, if you know me you know about my deep love of cats so this could turn into an ongoing series
