I am not a fan of leighton flowers exegesis. I read this as part of one of my book clubs. Its basically an apologetic book for people who dont want to be calvinists. I am also not a calvinist, but either way I wish there was a more academic book on traditionalism, btw, nor am I a traditionalist.

Finished this one for the book club, number 3 for the year. I liked this book in that it exposed me more to ideas and concepts I didn't know about regarding theology i.e. divine simplicity. It's a great book and very poetic, highly recommended if you are looking for something regarding attributes of God.

Number 2 for the year! This book was a carry over from last year, I enjoyed it, but feel it's the first book in a much needed area of discussion especially with the idea of people being outside the garden, old earth young earth, and the idea of what it means to be made in the image of God. It's a good book for those interested in upholding the biblical text as inerrant and our first authority while still allowing for evolution.

First book finished for the year! I really appreciated Wright respect and candor on this topic. If you are curious about topics like praying to the dead, purgatory, christian calendar celebrations, this book can be a good resource. Being probably the shortest of Wright's books I have read, he condenses his view quite well. No he doesn't endorse purgatory nor petitioning saints to talk to Jesus for us in case you are wondering, but he does explore the background of why those who do.

I enjoyed this book, it's the 2nd intermediate greek grammar this year, still working a 3rd by Benjamin Merkle, Robert Plummer, and Andrew Köstenberger. This book is more of a summary grammar then getting into the weeds of Biblical Greek. Number 40!!!!
