AI Filmmakers Berlin is back. 🎬🌸
This didn’t start as a formal community. It started with a simple idea: bring together people genuinely curious about AI filmmaking.
And somehow, here we are.
On May 28, our Spring Session takes place at ProSiebenSat.1 at Potsdamer Platz.
The evening brings together selected short film screenings, filmmaker conversations, audience Q&A and, this time, also a workflow session.
The focus stays the same: authorship, taste, process and creative decision-making in AI-driven filmmaking.

Almost two weeks later, Mallorca still feels special.
When Is It Yours? won Best Documentary at the AI Movie Awards 2026, I got to join a panel on AI and ethics with Vittoria Mascellaro, and Mallorca Magazin covered the festival over several pages, including a piece about my work.
The headline: “Keine Angst vor der Künstlichen Intelligenz”
“No fear of artificial intelligence.”
I like that framing.
For me, AI filmmaking is about authorship, taste, process, intention and learning how to use new tools without losing the point of view behind the work.

Last weekend at Soulscape in San Francisco.
A few intense days between keynote, 48-hour sprint, screenings, conversations, and very little sleep.
My talk was called Hacking the Algorithm with Art, but while building it, I realized it was really more about hacking reality.
For me, that means staying close to what feels human in the process, and above all, connecting your dots. That’s where a work starts to become truly yours.
I was also really happy to jump into the hackathon and see my film make it into the top 15.

Next week I’ll be in San Francisco as a speaker at @soulscapefilm Soulscape 2026.
Silicon Valley meets Hollywood. I’ll be giving a keynote on AI filmmaking from the perspective of the independent creator, and on what it means to hold artistic intent within algorithmic systems.
Looking forward to the exchange in SF.
