Richard Powers is one of my favorite writers. I love the way he writes internal dialogue and experience. So good. And the story is just weird and interesting.
Very highly recommended. This beautiful little book is ringing my bell this week.

An absolutely massive branch suddenly fell (look up “sudden limb drop”) from a very old, very large Burr Oak in Spokane last month near Cannon Hill Park. This section was probably 1/3 of the length of the overall branch that fell. But its perfectly fused branches and natural shape made it ideal for this (still in process) epic backyard centerpiece.
