Valentine’s Day was my first night out in the city, and I met some of my closest friends and my now drag family. Valentine’s Day never used to mean anything to me, but now it’s turned into a day to celebrate the friends that I’ve made and the community that’s supported me. . I have grown so much in two years. I’ve accomplished things I never could have dreamed of, but best of all I get to have a seat at the table in a community that’s supported me, loves me, and respects me as much as I support, love, and respect it.
