Lights, Camera, Action—With a Permit! 🎬
We want to remind filmmakers of an essential step—getting a film permit before rolling the cameras so if you’re filming any of the following in the city, a permit is required: 🎥
-Commercials ✅
-Music Videos ✅
-Documentaries ✅
-Still Photography ✅
-Motion Pictures ✅
-TV Shows ✅
In 2024, our film permits office received 328 applications and issued 202 permits. Nevada law also requires filmmakers to register their projects with the @nvfilmoffice , which keeps track of all productions filmed in the state.
