BEN DMV Events launches Q2 programming with a Book Release Social celebrating @tara_causby_king a BEN DMV member, Amazonian, and author of Lead With Leverage: How Women of Color Build Power, Presence, and Career Momentum in Corporate America.
This evening blends culture, storytelling, and professional connection with The Gathering Spot, creating a space for Black employees and allies to engage with authentic leadership narratives.
Event Flow:
- 4:00 PM: Networking happy hour
- 5:30 PM: Book launch program featuring Tara’s insights from motherhood to executive leadership, followed by a moderated discussion on the book’s core themes
