Our prototype is currently being created by @sendcutsend and will be tested by @herr_rennwgn . Once our prototype is refined, it will be for sale on SendCutSend Marketplace (a fantastic service) and will be available to be purchased by the panel. Because the Bronco has a 33/66 split backseat, you can order 1, 2 or 3 panels depending on your Broncos setup!

The first picture is a mixture of Vizcom with an Onshape Render of a shovel photoshopped in. I did this to make the background image editable to remove as much of the “flat and bright AI” look from it. Let me know what you think! Would it fool you?

I have never attempted paint or bodywork in my life, and this project really shows that 😂 getting a perfect finish on paint/bodywork is so hard! I definitely still have a lot to learn but it was a really fun first attempt on a bumper that had already been destroyed and repaired a few times in its life.

I have a lot of videos I filmed throughout the process where I scanned the bumper, 3D modeled the add-ons, 3D printed them and JB plastic Welded them on, so maybe I’ll edit it into one full-length video, comment if you’d be interested in watching it.

I also sadly did sell the Z3 to a good friend of mine so it will still live on, but will likely not be featured anymore on this page. Stay tuned for Tacoma projects though!! I have some cool ideas in the works. 😁

While I have designed many cool products with BenderWorks’ clients, I am super excited to announce the very first product of our own!! This project that has been an incredible collaboration with @tacomabraptor and features custom made straps from @austere_manufacturing and while it is niche to the 4 Door Bronco, we think it’ll be incredibly useful!
So what is it?? Essentially, this 1/8th inch aluminum shelf creates a level surface above the 10° of tilt created when the rear seats are folded down, AND gives users plenty of points to add tie-downs for their gear! Bronco dads everywhere can now confidently say “that’s not going anywhere” when strapping their boxes to this platform.
Installation is super easy as well, thanks to it being mounted using @austere_manufacturing 1” cam straps! They are routed through the platform and under the seat, which creates a surprisingly sturdy installation that can be uninstalled in just minutes if needed.
It’s also modular, meaning that you can buy just 1 platform if you need 2 seats in the back, 2 platforms for just 1 seat, or go all out and slap the full set of 3 together for the ultimate storage solution!

Well, it’s finally time to retire my first product: the banana bag…

Creating and selling the banana bag has been such a rewarding experience from start to finish and was exactly what I hoped to accomplish with my career: to create fun products that people love using!

To me it was the coolest thing in the world to see people wearing and showing off a product that I created. They really do draw the best kind of attention: joy and amazement at the novelty of such a funny bag. That’s something I want to keep chasing for the rest of my career!

From the first prototype we made at home with my sister-in-law to the first article pictures I got from the factory to receiving my first shipment, to selling the first banana bag and seeing the pictures everyone would send me, and now to selling the last bag (we sold banana bags to people in 10 different states and even one to Switzerland!) it makes me truly happy to think of all the joy these bags are spreading across the world!
