Waiting Game took a while to craft, I was trying to write a ‘2 chord’ song but ended up cheating a little 😂 .. Lyrically it’s about the cathartic process of letting go of an unbalanced relationship, and the peace that comes with the acceptance of moving on .. and feeling free again 🕊️
I really love Zed’s interpretation, Andy’s dreamy guitars, Age’s rolling rhythms .. and it was fun to experiment with singing the lead melody in unison with Nath to create a hybrid of our two voices, something we haven't really tried before.

Remembering this amazing man today, 19 years since he passed .. which seems crazy, as it feels both such a long time ago but also just like yesterday. Dad was such a charismatic human, generous with empathy and wisdom, and when he passed it was devastating for our family. We never thought that life could go back to anything resembling normal, but it’s true that time heals and we repair and rebuild .. and now with perspective of nearly 20 years I am feeling forever grateful to have had such an amazingly supportive father and mentor to model life on. Still sorely missed, especially on anniversaries and important days and events .. I would like to acknowledge everyone that has been there for us when he couldn’t, I know he would be so happy to see the wonderful people that have wrapped themselves around our family. Thank you all, thank you thank you thank you 🙌
