The Last Day: A coming of age short film set in mid90s Leeds. It's the end of sixth form and two unlikely best friends have to confront the fact that their futures might be heading in different directions.
In partnership with @thespacearts , @studio12leeds , The Last Day is just one of the four incredible films commissioned by @skyarts premiering on the 19th of December at 10pm on Sky Arts.
I’m so grateful and blessed to have worked on this project with these beautiful souls. Even with the late shoots, the local drunkard, and me hurling myself to the floor again and again, I did not want this shoot to end! This was truly a passion project for me as, to a degree, I understood and related to Navraj’s struggles, through my own and my family’s experiences.
A massive thank you to the incredible team who brought this project to life and made it such a joyous and comfortable experience.
