@SceneStyled NEW IN: Egyptian Footwear Label Be Native Steps Into the Scene With Inaugural ‘BN-10’ Sneaker Collection Drop
Over the past few years, Egypt has witnessed a surge in homegrown brands—a flourishing movement that deserves celebration. Yet amidst this rise, one gap remained largely unfilled: footwear. Enter Be Native, the newly launched Egyptian footwear brand aiming to fill that void with style and purpose.
Founded by entrepreneurs Ahmed Abozeid and Khaled Rashwan, Be Native debuted in November 2024 with a mission to connect people—one might even say they’re uniting ‘soles.’ For their debut, Be Native released their inaugural drop, featuring one singular sneaker silhouette in myriad colours and editions; the BN-10.

@SceneStyled : In a rare collision of art, fashion, and urban memory, Mohamed Fares, Partner and Co-founder at Alchemy and founder of MF & Associates, has joined forces with Be Native on a one-of-one, hand-drawn sneaker titled Urban Soul. The piece will be showcased at Tamara Haus from November 23 to 29, where bidding officially opens—starting at 10,000 EGP.
For Be Native, the collaboration is a natural extension of its ethos. The brand has long championed localized craftsmanship and culturally rooted streetwear; celebrating native stories, native materials, and native creators. Urban Soul fits squarely into that mission, acting as both object and cultural artifact.
Fares, known for his architectural illustration style draws Downtown Cairo’s layers, textures, and human rhythms onto the sneaker’s surface.
