We have been exploring new soundscapes together as we prepare for our biggest ever Sonic Ritual this Thursday… We will be bringing deep sound journeying to the incredible acoustic of St Mary’s Church in Totnes @stmarystotnes for a 3 hour-long exploration of sound and the impact of music on our inner and collective worlds. We’re so looking forward to bringing this experience to life, having developed our offering over the past year or so, to be able to connect with each other through sound in this sacred space. ✨By popular demand, our acclaimed SONIC RITUAL is coming to a bigger space for a longer experience… On Ascension Day, Thursday 14th May, the stunning and newly refurbished St Mary’s Church in Totnes will be vibrating with the immersive soundscapes of electric cello, acoustic cello, voices, percussion, and a few other instruments for good measure. 🦄 What’s more: this will be a 3 hour long experience, making space for deep journeying and transformative healing. Legendary bassist Jah Wobble came to Totnes with his band for a sell out gig at the Barrel House. They mixed reggae, jazz, and punk, but it didn’t feel weird, it felt good. Bee got on the dub effects! Thanks to Tamarind Tree who gave the band a delicious meal.

feeling so much joy and gratitude for our sell out gig on Friday evening at @moorimaginationcollective as part of @billiemareemusic band and joining up with @annalingyogasing leading her epic @dartsong.chorus 🎶 the whole set was a dream but it was particularly special to share a song about singing our dreams to the river with so many beautiful voices on stage all expressing our concern for the waters through music... wowow so important during these times 💧🌱 on another note... its also been quite a journey for me, in theory I joined this band to get into a festival this summer for free 😅 but here i am 7 months later having been part of 6 live performances now & many an epic band practice and we've got our next gig at @andsoulcommunity this Sunday so if you're in London come check us out 🥰 I've always loved performing, with my previous training in ballet, but this era of music feels so exciting... im in love with bills music so to be able to learn how to support it with textures and sounds using shakers, rain stick and the synth is an absolute vibe, playing music together is maybe my current favourite thing so it feels lush to share about this step on my journey, its also been incredibly good for my wellbeing... playing the shaker is well regulating for my body and learning i often need more stimulation of the right kinds like making a lot of noise has been key🧂 if youre thinking you always wanted to start... whatever it is... its never too late... follow your intuition and see where it leads 🙃 here's some pics from the gig, cute little outtakes and us celebrating hard after... 💖 thanks @jessica_sophie_perkins for the snaps 😘
