We’re just over a week past @strangewayscomics first FREE COMIC BOOK DAY. It was one of the most important days of my entire life. It’s been a crazy week since!
The fact that anyone cares about literally anything I do blows my mind, but I love that people do.
I love my wife, I love my friends, I love the people that support all-o-us and spread love across their own lives, and goddammit I might just love Greensboro.

A spot in downtown Greensboro full of comics, toys, graphic novels, mags, VHS, a manga room, arcade games, a cozy treehouse room stocked with lil kids comics and toys and a tiny table and chairs. You can feel it’s more than just a store, it’s place to hang, not just grab books and head for the register! There’s even a decent size local and small press comics / zine section.
They’re also sponsoring Comicade ‘26 in downtown Winston Salem, so as we continue with our mission to build bridges between communities of artist, writers, collectors, musicians, and friendly people, we reach beyond our city limits, from Winston to Greensboro, and they reach back!

2025 was a weird one. I don’t really know what to say.
2026 will hopefully be significantly better.
If you didn’t already know, I along with @hannamaxey are taking over full ownership and control of THE Downtown Greensboro comic book store.
I’d love your support in spreading the word or just making sure that I don’t crash and burn in whatever way you can. This is gonna be something different and something for everyone.
October 2025 was one of the most difficult months of my entire life but also showed me how to actually move forward in a positive way. Thank you KKBB, Thank you BloodRitual, Thank you Halloween, and most importantly Thank you Ace Frehley.
Did another monster slaying book with writer friends @samueljromesburg and @ben_lizzy_ I penciled, inked, colored, and lettered 18 pages of this book and added some rough concept sketches in the back. It was a fun project to work on and I definitely leveled up during the process. More collaborations and new stuff to come soon...and it's all gonna be sweeeeeeeeet! 🤘🤘🤘be seeing you.
Carson Roberts was more than a dog, he was truly my best friend. A weird little dude that found his way into my life and never left my side. He was an empath, a lover, and so smart that I think he knew how to play pranks on me.
Circumstances kept us apart over the past few years and he lived with my parents. I never forgave myself for those reasons but I know he loved nonetheless and would show off, despite a weakened state, whenever I came around. If you knew him, he loved you too.
A true cowboy. One of the good ones. I’ll love you forever buddy.
A week ago from today I married my best friend on the patio of a bar in Downtown Greensboro filled to the brim with people that love and care about us together and individually. Thank you to everyone who came or had something nice to say.
