MILK, a gallery of photography, film, dance and sound, runs at the JMAC Pop Up from April 29 to May 9. Through sound, visual art, moving art, and even some meditations (if you so choose to participate) we’ll reflect on the cultural power and pressure of food, eating and nourishment. This not-so-solo show is conceived of by me, but would be nothing without the passionate and thoughtful collaborators I worked with. This music, composed and played by Ben Cuba, will absolutely melt you. The gallery is open for viewing Wednesdays-Saturdays from 2-6pm. Bring some headphones, and maybe some tissues. Meet our musical artists and come check out their work at INK in Motion! @ben_cuba is a multi-instrumentalist, accompanist, and composer based in the Boston area. His work for @katrinaconte ’s latest piece will have you smiling and you don’t want to miss it! @dkntl is a Boston-based songwriter, performer, and audio engineer. The song he created for @brennabzzzbee ’s superhero inspired piece (inspired by Toni Buzzeo’s latest book- more on that tomorrow!) will have your energy soaring! @baycitymusic returns for a second consecutive show with us! Graham Peck is a Boston based singer/songwriter, board certified music therapist (MT-BC), founder of Tonal Vibrations Music Therapy, and the lead singer of project BayCity. His composition for @lilaruthklaus captures the contemplative vibe consistent with Lila's movement vocabulary. Catch all of these musicians at the show!
