stoked to get down to emma wood last week to take a few photos before they cut down some of the iconic trees. I guess the bridge will soon follow a similar fate
Please join us in celebrating the opening of Tee Smith’s show “Far Dark Line” at 506 Gallery
Thursday, May 7
6pm - 8pm
506 E Haley St
“Far Dark Line” is a project born from dreams and themes of the unconscious. Images of rockfall, erosion, and a gate that leads to nowhere all started from a series of vivid dreams and are intended to represent the edges of the self. The invisible line of the known and the unknown.
Tee Smith is a photographer from New England, currently living in Ventura California. His work is often of weather, water and the edge of human existence. Tee studied photography at Mass Art and was influenced early on by the New Topographics movement: Photographs of a Man altered landscape.
We hope to see you there!
I've known justin for probably a decade and every time I see his caller id pop up I know he has some wild plan in mind.
it's always fun hanging with him, he'll talk you out of any rut you're in or through some scary move on a rock wall.
we shot these portraits recently after a fun morning run up in the hills above ojai.
