Day 4/4: The best day of our lives ♾️ 05.01.2026
From the start, we always knew we wanted our wedding to be a reflection of us, light hearted yet intentional and spontaneous but thoughtfully curated. A celebration rooted in our love for experiences, travel, laughter, and a love that felt truly worth celebrating. Because at its core, it has always been two best friends who met in their early twenties and kept choosing each other everyday;across distance, time zones, missed flights, a pandemic, grief, and daunting milestones. No matter what life brought, the constant was always us.
All in all, our wedding day with our loved ones was the perfect ending to TheKBexperience, and the most beautiful beginning of our journey together.

Day 3/4: Fresh off the Market - Garden Party
Set in a Bishopscourt garden featuring fresh fruit, florals, and the presence of our favourite people in pastels. Our Welcome Garden Party was an evening that felt light, intimate, and beautifully ours.
The biggest win, however, was getting our beloved groom to agree to wear pink 🤣🌸

Day 2/4: The Sail Before the Veil
It’s no secret that Kwame and I love to be on the water. It only felt right for our first pre-wedding event in Capetown to be a boat party. We welcomed our closest friends and family out on the water, sailing past the iconic coastline. The boat party set the tone perfectly and marked the beginning of an unforgettable three days.

Day 1/4: The Ghanaian Traditional Wedding
Day 1 of our wedding celebrations began the only way that felt true to us, rooted in culture, family, and tradition. According to Akan culture, the traditional wedding was held at my family home in Accra.
This day was incredibly special to us. It was more than a ceremony, it was a moment of grounding, deep connection to our home and ofcourse, fun. Thank you to all who helped us to create this special memory.
