I recreated J-Cole’s latest music video from The Fall Off Disc 2 Track 2 in my dining room office.
In this video I break down how I did it.
First, film your footage on a green screen or blue screen. Make sure you properly light your green screen, I didn’t and it was a pain to key myself out. I recommend generating PBR, Alpha, and depth passes for your footage so that you can relight your subject in 3D to help better sell the effect. Next, I used blender for the 3D environment. I modelled the rooms and dropped in the assets to fill the scene out. Once everything is in place and you add your lights and camera you can hit render! #vfx #blender #jcole
