These @guayaki Yerba Mate shoots are always 💦💦💦🦾🦾 Proud of the entire team involved on this shoot. It’s like we’ve done this once or twice before 😉🦾🙌🏼 For transparency, these clips are slowed down to better appreciate the action. Enjoy!

The preps for shoots that involve all our brain power, capabilities and team members are just as fun as the actual shoot. Trust me. Plenty of independent rigs to build, test and prep on all departments this past week. But nothing like the prep days when we all gather, start putting all the parts together and begin seeing what we’re gonna produce 🔥💥🦾🦾 Proud to be able to contribute to this team. Thanks to all the extra hands that are just as essential. Ya’ll rock! 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Last revisions over the weekend and ready for Monday 🦾🦾

Robot Spa Day! 🦾 • This robotic hand has been faithfully performing sign language at the @perotmuseum for over 5 years! Today it’s getting fresh @hitecusa servos, UHMW spacers, and a new lease on ‘life.’ 🤖 (Before on left, After on right)

We’ve had a lot of questions about this one…so here’s how we did it! 🛠️ This is a juvenile T.rex puppet, sculpted and built by the amazing Hall Train. The puppet came to Bellwether, asking if we could give it a “voice.” Careful observers will notice my left hand moving slightly, pushing micro-buttons we’ve hidden inside the glove (shown here, inside out). These buttons trigger audio files, which are played on a Bose Mini Soundlink (for deep bass), hidden inside the puppet’s body. To make the sounds “appear” to come from the T.rex’s mouth, we put a directional piezo tweeter within the throat, completing the illusion. 🦖

Quick trip to Dallas to repair a few exhibits, including this Robotic Hand we built a few years back. Utilizing Hitec metal-gear servos, this interactive demonstrates robotics using American Sign Language (ASL), spelling “FLEXIBLE” in this video.

Now on Netflix, “Unknown: Cave of Bones,” a documentary about the discovery of Homo Naledi, an early human ancestor. Homo Naledi is an extinct species of archaic human, first discovered in 2013 in the Rising Star Cave, Cradle of Humankind, South Africa dating to the Middle Pleistocene 335,000–236,000 years ago. We had the rare opportunity to build portions of this exhibit for @perotmuseum displaying Homo Naledi bones in 2019. We created high-security bulletproof acrylic vitrines, made accessible to visiting researchers using electronic lifting actuators. A multi-screen documentary was created by @rlmg_media and displayed on our "TV Tree" structure, featuring 24 synchronized video screens. Thanks to our wonderful partners for helping us create this historic exhibit! @perotmuseum @pmns_gemsminerals @rlmg_media @shadwilson @wkentsnow @netflix
