Local farm, professional chef—here’s what I made with our CSA share this week (so far!) 🌱
Sometimes, when you work in a kitchen, it’s a struggle to whip anything up for yourself after a long day (believe it or not) 😅 but this is some if what my family will be eating thanks to a dedicated evening of meal prep. Produce going to waste in my fridge? Absolutely not. 🙂↔️🥗
Chopped kale salad with radishes, green onions, teriyaki marinated tofu, steamed edamame & simple miso vinaigrette
Veggie couscous with balsamic reduction
Strawberry lemonade (my daughter’s recipe—she’s the real MVP here 🍓)
Pasta salad loaded with fresh zucchini, onions & farm herbs
Yogurt breakfast bowl topped with homemade granola, strawberries & raw honey
And the best part? I’ve still got garlic scapes, broccoli, mixed greens, and yogurt for days. This is why I love CSA season and why I’m so grateful for our hardworking farmers.

We are thrilled to shine a spotlight Bells Bend Farm, one of our Farm Together Now farms, a CSA and farmers market mainstay, and the place where you can go square dancing to live music at the barn just a few minutes outside Nashville. The small family farm has been growing fresh food and cut flowers using regenerative farming methods and hosting memorable events for 16 years. More recently the have opened their Farm Store which features a wide variety of fresh produce, local food, gifts and much more. Sugar Snap Pea seed was soaked 2/27, planted in the field a day later and the little shoots are now ready to be covered for the coming freeze (along with almost everything else on the farm) 🥶
Eric will be back at @richlandparkfarmersmarket Saturday from 10-12 with super sweet carrots, spring rapini/raab, garlic, sweet potatoes, pea shoots, grass-fed yogurt and more!
