Ain't i a Woman? My book was first published in 1981, it has taken it's title from Sojourner's Truth famous speech from 1851. Sojourner is an example of an early black feminist campaigner who up until then had been 'erased' from the history of feminism. The main argument in my book is that the struggle to end racism and the struggle to end sexism are naturally intertwined.

Feminism is misunderstood as only needs for women, this is not true. Feminism is for all people. Never let anyone tell you different.

We must all evaluate our needs. The goal is to know love, not just want it. #allaboutlove
