FINALLY got some business pictures done, so hereās a long overdue introduction to me and my hairstyling business, Belleās Brides š¹
Hello future clients! Iām Belle, a wedding and event hairstylist based in the Tulsa, OK area. My specialties are Hollywood waves, textured updos & half-updos, and looks that enhance your natural texture. Iāve been doing wedding hair for about 2.5 years.
I started in cut and color about 3.5 years ago, but I never truly had a passion for it. The permanence of it stressed me outāIām such a people pleaser and just want everyone to feel happy with their hair. I didnāt find enough joy in it to keep pushing through the learning curve.
Hairstyling, on the other hand, has always come naturally to me. Iāve loved it since school, and I appreciate that I can adjust, tweak, or completely redo a style until it feels just right.
I first fell in love with bridal hair when my sister got married when I was 17. I was completely enamored with the getting-ready process. I even reached out to her hairstylist about shadowing and sent available dates but never heard backāand I didnāt know how else to break into the industry at the time, so I stayed focused on salon work and pushed away the thought of wedding styling.
Fast forward to 2.5 years ago, when a former coworker connected me with @calliwhitehairandmakeup as she was building her bridal team. Iāll always be so grateful for that opportunity (shoutout Samantha š«¶š»). Working under Calli was such an amazing learning experience and gave me the chance to grow while she handled the administrative side.
About a year ago, I started booking my own weddings, rebranded to Belleās Brides, and fully stepped away from promoting cut and color to focus on styling. Since then, Iāve been learning the business side while continuing to grow my skills. It wasnāt always easy at first, so Iām especially grateful for the brides who were patient with me along the way š
Every bride Iāve worked with has been so kind and supportiveāI truly feel so lucky that this gets to be my careerš«¶š»š

Seriously love what I do so much. Seeing the improvement in repetition of styling is satisfying to watch over time. I just want to get better and better, for all my clients to have the most beautiful, magical hair possiblešš„²š
Looking at my lineup of brides Iāve booked/ had reach out for 2025-2026 makes me want to cry. To have so many women trust me with their hair is the most special feeling. I only started independently in the last half year and to already have so many people reach out makes me so happy and excited for a bright future in this career š ok im done being sappy now lol thx for coming to my ted talkš

This past year was truly unforgettable. The brides I had the honor of working with in my very first year of wedding hairstyling independently will forever hold a special place in my heart. š¤
After nearly two years working with the @calliwhitehairandmakeup team, I made the decision around this time last year to start booking weddings on my own and fully step into the wedding world under my own brand. Thatās when Belleās Brides was bornāa complete rebrand from my former cut-and-color-focused page.
I never felt fully confident in that side of hairdressing until I discovered bridal hairstyling. Through working on a bridal team, I realized this is where my true passion and confidence live. Instead of imposter syndrome and burnout, I felt inspiredāmotivated to grow, refine my skills, and show up better for my clients. Instead of fear before appointments, I felt excitement and anticipation for the styles Iād get to create. āØ
I want to say a huge THANK YOU to every bride who trusted me with their wedding hair and who supported me as I found my footing in the wedding industry. This year also came with unexpected challenges, including a serious health scare my boyfriend faced that consumed much of our lives for half the year. The patience, kindness, and understanding I received from my brides during that time truly means more than I can put into words. š¤
Iām so excited for this year and all the years to come as I continue growing in my craft and working to make both my business and my brides flourish. I got the pleasure of having 14 brides I booked myself, and 25 weddings I worked on a team. One year down with Belleās Bridesāmany, many more to come! š„

Haha this trend but with an old YouTube video. Why does the style actually look kinda cute?šš
Been a girly girl since day one šš I was that kid watching all the hair YouTube tutorials, always trying new hairstyles and curling methods⦠and donāt even get me started on those experiments š Iāve curled my hair with plastic straws, socks, Bantu knotsāyou name it Iāve probably tried itš Later on I even did my own updo for homecoming. Safe to say hairstyling has been my calling since a young age!
