Under-eye prep is one of those steps that makes a big difference during glam! I always use @kiehls Avocado Eye Cream for that burst of hydration before concealer. Smooth, bright, fresh every time 🥑✨

Sometimes I look at my life and I wish I were further ahead or I don’t feel like I’ve done enough or I could be doing more. I think it’s the severe impostor syndrome in me. Then I think to myself of my journey, how long it’s been and how far I’ve come. I really thought I was going to be a nurse lol. From working as a medical assistant and doing makeup out of my kitchen in my first Bronx apartment and doing makeup part time for “extra money”, to doing glam on some of my favorite faces and working with people and brands I once only dreamed of. And being recognized by my peers and being in spaces I used to pray to be in. I’m so, so thankful because lord knows this hasn’t been easy 🤍 There is still so much more I want to do and want to accomplish and I feel like I’m just getting started even after all this time. Gentle reminder to never give up on yourself! I always say, time is going to pass by anyway so do what sets your soul on fire
Touch-ups are a key part of my job as a makeup artist, and having the right products organized in the right bag makes all the difference. Whether I’m on set, at a red carpet, or on a photoshoot, carrying a full kit isn’t always practical especially when staying with the client post-glam.
