"The Well" Collection Floor Lamp. The lamp features a cylindrical wooden shade in a warm, natural tone, with visible wood grain that emits a soft, ambient glow. Its base is formed by two half-cylindrical elements separated by a solid wood spacer, creating a balanced and sculptural profile. The base is carved from solid red oak, while the shade is crafted from oak veneer. Together, the natural materials and gentle illumination contribute to a calm, balanced, and contemporary interior atmosphere. It was produced using a combination of traditional woodworking techniques and machining technology. #lamp #designstudio #furnituredesign #woodworking #gallery

"The Well" collection is inspired by the biblical story of Joseph. At 17, Joseph was blessed with the ability to foresee future events through dreams. His brothers, driven by envy because he was their father's favorite child, saw his God-given gift as a threat. Seeking to destroy him. They cast him into a well in Dothan and later sold him into slavery to Ishmaelite merchants, who then sold him into Egypt. For 13 years, Joseph endured slavery, losing his freedom and rights despite his noble lineage. However, his gift ultimately paved his way. At the age of 30, he was called before Pharaoh to interpret a dream that baffled all of Egypt. This pivotal moment transformed him from a slave to the second most powerful man in Egypt. Through his gift of dream interpretation, he not only saved Egypt but also the surrounding territories from a devastating famine that threatened to destroy a generation. None of this would have been possible without the "well"—a place of betrayal and bondage that ultimately served as a catalyst for his destiny as Prime Minister of Egypt and savior of his generation. "The Well" collection, therefore, speaks to finding purpose through betrayal, bondage, and pain. In a world where many face trials and tribulations, this collection symbolizes finding hope in the midst of suffering. It embodies the idea that the very situations intended to destroy us can become the means of our promotion. For this collection, we will draw inspiration from Joseph's Well in Dothan, located outside the West Bank near the Jordan River. We crafted the pieces using natural wood, which evokes the hand-wrought stones surrounding the well and directly reflects the cistern of Joseph. #design #furnituredesign #woodworking #designmiami #furniture

The Mountain Chair... Biblically speaking, mountains were places of transformation. Mountains were a place of solitude and isolation, but in that, destinies were born. Moses found his destiny on a mountain, Jesus found his destiny and walked into His purpose after leaving a mountain. I created this chair representing the message behind mountains. While making this, I felt like I was on a mountain. I had feelings of isolation and solitude, but I knew that it was a catalyst that would launch me to my destiny. Interpreting my feelings, I abstracted and simplified a mountain range, then intersected the bent laminated forms to make the chair visually interesting from different perspectives. #design #furnituredesign #art #woodworking
