Grounded, but still connected to something larger. Taken from my Substack post “To Be Everything & Nothing At Once” with some minor revisions. Check out my Substack for more writing like this :). My essays centre on themes such as identity, attachment, connection, perception & embodiment. Link in bio. 𐙚

There is something beautiful about words and their ability to fragment. Each word has the potential to carry worlds - to inhabit the complexity of layered feelings while also being limited by definition. Simultaneously disjointed & expansive. The ability to use the gaze, to see a word, an image, anything… and connect with it through energy. To tie one’s heart to an expression that reflects the individual back to themselves… is special. Mostly found images & the works of: 1. Tracey Emin 4.Robert Rauschenberg 5. Wolfgang Tillmans 6. Louise Bourgeois

A year of movement…. Thankful for this year although it stripped me to my core 🐍. Thankful to be able to use my body as a mode of expression and release. Excited for what the new year will bring 🔐🎠🖤
