It is always special to perform at the Philharmonie de Paris, and Monday night was no exception!@belcea_quartet and I entered the stage to an attentive and enthusiastic full house, as we took them on a musical journey from Mozart to Schoenberg.Last night, we performed this piece at the 6th stop on our tour, London, at the sold-out @wigmore_hall !Now on to Madrid, Heidelberg and Copenhagen!

Este jueves el ciclo #LiceoDeCámaraXXI del #CNDM recibe de nuevo al Cuarteto Belcea (@belcea_quartet) pero en esta ocasión junto a la soprano Barbara Hannigan (@hannigan.barbara) como invitada excepcional.Bajo el título "Ich fühle Luft von anderem Planeten", el programa propone un viaje por la modernidad musical, desde la intensidad concentrada de Anton Webern hasta el lirismo de Paul Hindemith, pasando por el juego armónico del célebre cuarteto “De las disonancias” de Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart y finalizando con el impactante Cuarteto n.º 2 de Arnold Schoenberg, una de las obras más audaces del repertorio camerístico del siglo XX. What a wonderful start to our nine concert tour, at the magical @schlosselmau , outside Munich.Here are a few moments from our rehearsals, mixed with some peaceful restoration at the resort’s alpine spa who made us feel so welcome..Next stop: Dortmund, on March 12th, at @konzerthaus_do in Dortmund. Link to tickets in stories!

Das @belcea_quartet vereint vier Künstlerpersönlichkeiten unterschiedlicher Herkunft: die rumänische Violinistin Corina Belcea, die koreanisch-australische Violinistin Suyeon Kang, den polnischen Bratschisten Krzysztof Chorzelski und den französischen Cellisten Antoine Lederlin. Heute begeisterten sie im Kammerkonzert des Musikvereins mit Werken von Mendelssohn, Britten und Beethoven!
