When I sat down to design this collection - I thought of not only my mum but the women in my friendship groups, church family and the women I see online. Those that love on their families, raise children and inspire the next generation and for the most part do it with such grace. Being a mother is no easy feat - and this was just a teeny tiny way to appreciate and say, I see you and celebrate you all. The NURTURE collection isn’t just for Mother’s Day but intentionally created to simply honour and celebrate whichever moment we as remarkable mums are celebrating. These designs are for the highly blessed and favoured mums, the expectant mums, the interceding, patient and gracious mums. The mums you gained through marriage or ones that simply stepped in out of love. Just a humble brag on what GOD can do with someone who starts…. @gracemagonline (Digital faith, fashion & lifestyle publication publication) @its.huntd ( Private luxury shopping platform ) @kardscollective ( Premium Celebration Cards ) @beingdesigncreatives (Branding & digital design agency ) I never had the blueprint or experience on how to build - just a willing heart and a powerful God. Across the 4 that I have started I can say I’ve reached and served over 5,000. (He fed 5,000 with 5loaves and 2 fish Matthew 14:17-19) The multiplication is His job, the faith and stepping out is our part. Moral of the post - start that business…. I was getting ready to film a quick cute ootd but God had other plans - so here we are 😊 I could’ve ignored and filmed it as usual but then that would be against the very message laid on my heart. As it’s currently men’s fashion week I was thinking over my time in Paris last September - the planning and prep it takes to make the most of the busy season….. I saw a post by @jaytibbitts yesterday about the 7 things fashion week has taught him ( very insightful btw 👏🏾👏🏾 ) and wanted to add my 2 pence on TWO things you should have if you ever consider going to fashion week and these pictures give a hint 😂 1. A personal photographer - so you can get all your content and BTS and not rely on the photographers on the ground to take pics of you! — side note: sometimes if you have good style when they see someone taking your photo, they join in. 2. Someone to fix-your-hair!! Listen, you don’t have the luxury of controlling how a photo may come out or get a chance to have any photographer edit it if your hair or anything is a mess - so having someone who is constantly fixing you on the go is a BLESSING. In 2023 after noticing a gap for faith-inspired celebration cards that felt fresh, fun, thoughtful and relatable, we decided to tap in and create what we wanted to be able to find. KARDS is more than pretty designs — it’s about bringing back the art of actually writing something meaningful. The kind of words people used to pour into love letters, birthday cards, and notes they kept in drawers forever. Our mission? To promote love, spark laughter, and remind us that a few intentional words can carry so much weight.
