Bea Barros (@beilymakes ) recently teamed up with Tough Mama Home & Kitchen Appliances, a well-loved Filipino brand, for a fun and playful sticker design project! šŸ‡µšŸ‡āœØ She created a set of 9 illustrated stickers, each featuring one of Tough Mama’s appliances paired with lighthearted phrases. Using the brand’s signature colors and her own hand-lettering style, Bea brought a fresh, lively touch to the designs. The stickers were printed as sheets and used at Tough Mama’s on-ground events — a fun way to engage with the crowd. For Bea, this collaboration was extra special, having personally used the brand back when she lived in Manila. A huge thank you goes to @cherisseyao , Creative Director at Tough Mama, for trusting Bea with the project and giving her the freedom to explore playful ideas. šŸ’– Art Direction: Cherisse Yao Illustration & Lettering: Bea Barros #BeaBarros #StickerDesign #Illustration #Lettering #ToughMama #CreativeCollab #FilipinoBrand #DesignProject #KitchenAppliances #PlayfulDesign #annagoodsonillustrationagency

After a long time, I finally picked up my pencil again. I made this artwork as a reminder of what God has been revealing to me lately and it is from 2 Timothy 1:7: ā€œFor God gave us a spirit not of fear, but of power and love and self-control.ā€ I’ve read this verse before, many times. But this time, it felt different. It gave me a new understanding of what it means by "Fear is never from the Lord." I’ve always had this unconscious habit of overthinking—playing out worst-case scenarios in my mind, fearing that maybe God would allow them to happen to me someday. These thoughts would pop into my head at random moments, sending a small jolt through my heart. I would pray against them whenever I noticed, yet they still found their way back, slipping into my mind unnoticed. And for the longest time, I didn’t even realize how often it was happening. I just assumed it was just thoughts. But God, in His grace, opened my eyes to the truth. He showed me that I had been carrying this pattern of fear for so long without even recognizing it. Those what ifs, those maybe something bad will happen thoughts? They are not from Him. They are not the fruit of His Spirit but a tactic of the enemy meant to paralyze, distract, and keep me from fully stepping into the work He has for me. Jesus made it clear: He did not give us a spirit of fear. And if it didn’t come from Him, then I don’t have to accept it. So now, when those anxious thoughts try to creep in, I immediately counter them with this verse, and every time, it grounds me in His peace. This artwork is my way of holding onto that truth. When fear tries to creep in, I remind myself that this is not from Him. And He reassures me again in John 14:27: ā€œPeace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.ā€ I’m truly grateful for this revelation. Thank you, Jesus, for your peace and your love! If you’ve ever struggled with these thoughts, I hope this encourages you too. God’s peace is real, and it’s always there for us. #bibleverse #bibleartjournaling #typography #artforjesus #lettering #dailybread #gospelartist

These days, it seems like being loud and outgoing is the go-to recipe for success. Society often pushes us to be more extroverted, making it feel like being quiet is somehow wrong. If you're someone who tends to stay more in the background, people might assume you’re disengaged, lost or cannot understand anything. But maybe you're just thinking things through, or really paying attention. As an introvert, I’ve had people make those kinds of assumptions about me, and honestly, it made me question myself. Should I be more outspoken just because that’s what’s expected? It got me thinking, and that’s when I picked up a book about quietness. It gave me a fresh perspective that felt comforting—it’s okay to be quiet. I don’t need to force myself to change just because most people think I should. What I’ve realized is that being introverted is actually a strength. I prefer to listen more than talk, I like to think before I speak, and just because I’m quiet doesn’t mean I’m not involved. I’m always processing things in my own way. Some of my best ideas come from sitting with my thoughts. There’s something powerful about taking time to reflect instead of always feeling like you need to speak up. I wish we could get to a point where being quiet is seen as normal. It’s not something that needs fixing. Being introverted comes with its own kind of strength, and it’s something I’m proud of. But I’ve also learned is that introverts and extroverts aren’t meant to be in competition. God designed both introverts and extroverts for their unique purposes. We need each other. Introverts can learn from extroverts, and extroverts can learn from introverts. Finding that balance between both types is what really makes things work, and both benefit from a mix of solitude and social connection. #thoughts #introverts #quiet #solitude #artoftheday #gif #typography #illustration #annagoodsonillustrationagency

Happy to share this new logo design project I worked on for @solrunning_ , a wonderful initiative by @solcoffee_ in Iloilo City. Seeing my design printed on merchandises is truly rewarding. For me, Logo design is beyond just creating an image. It's about putting in thought, creativity and time to craft something that genuinely represents the heart of a brand. This is why it’s so important for artists to be fairly compensated for their work. A big thank you to Sol Coffee for the opportunity to contribute to a project that promotes active lifestyle. Your support helps artists like me continue doing what we love. (Photos grabbed from Soul Running's IG) PS thank you to my lovely team at Pitch , to @darisgopie for supporting me on this! 🫶😘 #logodesign #iloilorunningclub #iloiloartist #typographylogo #annagoodsonillustrationagency
