If you are unable to attend due to personal reasons (such as health issues, work commitments, weather conditions, flights, etc.), tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable once sold. However, ticket transfer to other dancers of the same role and same level could be allowed. In the event of natural causes or force majeure circumstances such as natural disasters or war, the organizers will cancel the event in advance. 2026BBB will provide 6 tracks and 2 Adds-on
1 Beginner classes (20 people) Saturday and Sunday
2 Partner dancing Intermediate ( 20-22 couples) Saturday and Sunday
3 Partner dancing Advanced ( 20-22 couples) Saturday and Sunday
4 Solo Intermediate (30 people) Saturday and Sunday
5 Solo Adavanced ( 30 people ) Saturday and Sunday
6 Dance with Musicians ( 40 people ) Saturday and Sunday

2026BBB Part One: What do you expect from 2026BBB?
♥ 4 nights of social dancing (Thursday,Friday, Saturday and Sunday) of 20 musicians of different live bands and excellent DJs;
♥ 8 types of classes, including cultural lectures, DJ workshops, teacher training, group battle choreography, music classes, and a variety of courses at different levels and on different themes.
♥Performances:
1) spectacular choreography or demo from instructors
2 )City Performance from dancers of different cities
3)Choreography performance by the instructors and students together
♥Competitions
1) Newcomer Mix & Match (under 2 years of dancing)
2) Open Mix&Match: open to any dancer (excpet for whose who participate in Invitational or any dancer who won the first prize before at the same level of BBB)
3) Invitational Mix&Match ( invited by BBB)
4) Solo
5) choreography showcase (90 seconds) to a prescribed piece
6) All-Star Demo
You can choose multiple competitions if you meet the requirement.Winners of the competitions will get International Blues Camp Passes.
This is an improvisation from the workshop of Amoy Island Blues to the music-Well, I done got over it by T-Bone Walker. Thanks Max to pick up the song for me. There is no “fancy move” to the music, I just feel it with my body!
Last weekend, it was my great honor to be invited in Xiamen University to give a lecture on blues history and culture based on the two books that I really like and recently finished reading- Stepping on the blues and Blues people! Many thanks to Professor and all the dancers who came for the lecture!
Back to the world again! I was very happy to be invited to teach and improvise at HongKong Blues Community in October. The video is almost improvised performance that the host would like me to dance with only very specific and limited “ solo vocabulary ”. So I decided to show the “Coolness” , which is one of the core aesthetics of Blues dance. In blues dancing, coolness is not about showing off. What I would like to present here is being present, deep connected with the music along with my relaxed groove. There is no fancy movement, but you can see the subtle rhythm that speaks louder than the big shape. Hope you enjoy it. #Blues dancing#improvised# coolness
Next week, I will be teaching blues in Hong Kong. My first time there and I am very excited to meet new dancers there and dance with old friends. There will be 8 blues band! Let’s rock it!
