One Century, is made from five lightwells comprised of black stacked paper joined together by brass connectors, together totaling 7.5 ft in length. The first lightwell fills up to its brim with drops of light once every minute and empties when full into the second lightwell, which fills up once every hour, which then empties into days, years, and ultimately centuries. The century chamber is 18% full of light and will be momentarily completely full on New Year’s Eve 2099 before it empties, making space for the next century. #RetellingTime
