Meet Brittany Egbert, the multi-genre singer/songwriter from Los Angeles, known for her collaborations with Ciaran McAuley and Maratone on our main label. Brittany recently stopped by our office to take part in our very first Rapid Questions feature.

ODYSSEY — the journey. @paolonanni_ and I started writing “Odyssey” in April of 2025, over WhatsApp video. At the time, we were having weekly writing sessions, but this time felt different (at least for me). “Odyssey” flowed rather effortlessly, but felt equally epic. Within a week, we had booked studio time with my vocal producer @wefeelelated at @iconcollective (RIP) to record final vocals. The goal was to finish a vocal demo prior to EDC Vegas 2025 to begin pitching, which we did, but we just didn’t feel like we were finding the right home. So we waited. Paolo and I talked about meeting at ADE in October and shopping it there, but in the busyness of performing + networking, it also didn’t feel like the right time or place. Jump ahead a few weeks to Dreamstate SoCal in November of 2025, and I was on a mission to meet specific artists that I dreamt of working with. On the top of that list? None other than @romanmesser I met Roman in Hollywood at a Dreamstate After Party when my friend Darren intro’d us before his set. I said I was a fan, told him I was a singer, and he briefly took down my IG. That same night, I sent him our demo of “Odyssey” and the rest is history. I am so grateful that Roman took a chance on me and saw / matched the vision for “Odyssey”, out now on @suandamusic . Now…the song is out everywhere you stream music in all of its glory. We have a full length music video, we have charted on Beatport in the Top 100 Trance Main Floor Chart, and mayyyy have a surprise up our sleeves very soon to bring things full circle (shoutout 🙏 Dreamstate 👀). I love making music. I love the stories behind the songs that most people never get the pleasure of seeing or hearing. And, with all of that said, I truly hope I get to continue making these stories until the day that I leave this earth and my personal Odyssey concludes. 🌌🤍🌊
