your very first day of kindergarten.
We had a whole community rooting you on.
The first day posters, the pictures, the packed lunch, the after-school plans… we did it all.
I remember holding your hand, walking you in,
trying to be strong while letting you take your first steps into your own world.
And now here we are…
Walking you out.
From that little girl stepping into kindergarten
to this young woman being celebrated in her senior clap out
God has been so good.
You have been such a beautiful journey.
Thank you for being my God-given gift.
Thank you for growing with me.
Thank you for allowing me to be your mom through every season.
