When you’ve worked all week and did so good keeping your ADHD brain on task, but now it’s Friday and you can’t hold it together any longer.
Also, this is why nobody wants me in the pit.
April ❤️ dump 💩
I cant thank everyone enough for how special you all made this month. Literally, celebrating me all month long 😭 i love you all so much.
This next year will be every things I’ve been working towards and building. I can feel.
“i aint seen you in a month of Sundays” is what you’d say to me every-time I walked through the front door, even if you just saw me the other day. We’d go “meanderin’” outside to look at all the spring blooms and talk about your plans for the chickens. You’d say “lets go outside so I can smoke” & tell me stories about growing up in West Virginia, and then Chicago.
Ive only visited your grave once in 5 years and I feel guilty for that. But i’d by lying if I said it’s gotten easier. It hasn’t and something about that gravestone rips me in two. You’re there, and despite all those sunday lessons, I’m selfish and would rather you be here.
I make sure to tell Glora about her namesake and how much you loved her. How often you prayed for her, even before she was born. She’s getting really excited about reading and books and I make sure she knows that her name isnt the only thing she got from you.
I see you in her.
In every flower and tree I name.
In the bright colors I paint my walls.
In the antiques I find.
In Carrot Cake & Cornbread.
In every cup of black coffee.
In every song that makes you want to boogie.
I see you in every part of me.
Ticket support and donations are open for this Friday’s show!
As always, this is the honor system fuckers 🫶🏻 If you got the money — pay for the ticket. support the bands. support the scene.

originals are live in the shop, always!
reverse glass paintings, hand-stitched embroidery, and vintage tattoo-inspired art are currently available on Etsy, with new one-of-a-kind pieces already in the works for the upcoming market season.
i’m deep in the making phase right now — painting, stitching, and building out a fresh batch of originals to bring out into the world.

hi, i’m brittani — life long creative & figure-it-out’er
I’ve been making things since I was a little girl. I once made a scarf for my mamaw, by cutting out fabric and taping it together. I gave it to her for Christmas.
I once carved the “Venus Figurine” out of a bar of soap for school, that ended up being shown off in the local museum.
In sixth grade, I won a creative writing project that gifted my literary arts teacher, a classroom makeover!
In high school I got really into graffiti & heavy music, and by some miracle, I never got arrested like my friends did.
as I got older, creativity changed a little bit and I got serious about reselling vintage items. Which then turned into many different small businesses over the years…American honey, grindstone trading co, honey thrift, and now Auntie Bee’s…so, so, soooo many rebrands 😂
But, this little brand is where all of my favorite things collide: punk energy, vintage nostalgia, handmade art, diy spirit, and the beauty of giving old ideas new life.
from stickers and prints to one-of-a-kind handmade pieces, every design starts with something that inspires me — the music i love, the scene that shaped me, vintage ephemera, thrift store treasures, and the weird little things that make life feel more colorful.
thank you for supporting small, handmade, local art. every order, share, and kind word helps keep this dream alive 🖤
